July 16, 7 PM: The Future of the Cuyahoga Valley National Park (Hudson)

Hudson Library & Historical Society, 96 Library St., Hudson. Hear about future plans for Ohio’s only national park when recently-appointed Superintendent Craig Kenkel speaks at the Hudson Library & Historical Society on Wednesday, July 16 at 7 p.m.

Kenkel is responsible for about  managing the 30,000 acre Cuyahoga Valley National Park  as well as Canton’s First Ladies National Historic Site and the President James A. Garfield’s National Historic Site in Mentor.  His specialty is historic preservation of architecture and parks in urban areas.  Prior to coming to CVNP, Kenkel was Superintendent at San Francisco Maritime National Historical Park.
